Brandon Lucero

Coach Lucero ran CSFG for the 2018 Spring/Summer season and had tons of success with four Fargo qualifiers. If you ask his wrestlers they will tell you he had a major part in their high school season success due to their participation in CSFG.

Graduating from Air Academy in 2017 he had a successful junior year placing at the Colorado state tournament. His senior year a dislocated elbow held him from the state tournament but his work ethic and positive attitude kept everyone motivated for the entire season. Brandon was also a very decorated Greco/Freestyle wrestler nearly placing 2X at the Fargo National tournament. His coaching experience comes from the surplus of coaches he has had. “I believe you should be able to learn something from each individual, which I have been doing and is why I will one day not only make a good wrestler but a great coach.”

After high school he attended the University of Northern Colorado on a wrestling scholarship. Since leaving he is now back helping with the Air Academy Kadets and running his own club Colorado Springs Freestyle & Greco.

Lucero's goal is to help the wrestlers build their career so they can progress with it as far as they desire. He does that by expecting his wrestlers to strive for their goals and believing in themselves. Also wants all of his wrestlers to be committed day in and day out.
